Can't forget the 70th Event when Mike brought his quad copter and took our family photo. Enjoying pictures of Campbell Family Reunions gone by, what a time we have each third Sunday of July.  This would have been #73 Annual. This year because of Covit 19 we are suspending the party until next year when we are  praying things will get back to semi-normal. This was the baloon toss see Tony in the foreground. Rosie, Cecilia, Uncle Walt and Aunt Bernadine Uncle Don and Jean, Clara, Madelaine, Lorraine, Cecilia, Geralda and Rosie. This is the year that so many had passed away we did a balloon fly away in their memory Tug of war in the early days 1978

Bill you came into our lives when you were 29 and we are so grateful that you did.  Know that we love you to pieces on your 50th Birthday.  Happiest of Birthdays and many more. Cats here

Las Cruces - The Covid19 Virus - and friends We have been in Las Cruces now since 11th of November 2019.  It has been a great winter until March 15th or so when the Pandemic hit town and the country and the world. the gang is all here Then there was Ms Cat...we were here so long that she got pregnant and had her kitten/s and is now lactating at our Happy Hours. Once she brought her baby by and that was a highlight of our time here... This kitty would drop, and i mean drop off the 12 foot fence and join our Happy Hour each night hoping to get some food or drink. There was Lee Allem our tech guy and lover of cooking.  We never suffered for a meal. Lee taught us how to cook in the Instant Pots everybody had. Luckily I just happened to get one for Mothers Day, and do i love it.  I made Oatmeal first, second i made spaghetti dinner and third i hard boiled 6 eggs.  Wow, magic. I have made my second batch of oatmeal and looking forward to making Tuna Noodle Casserole.  N...

Happy Mothers Day to my mom in heaven and all the moms... Mom's are special in our lives and we never really know how special until we grow up and are moms ourselves, then we miss them a lot. Hugs to all the moms and their moms.

We are having such a great time here in Las Cruces sheltering with 6 Care-A-Vanners.  Habitat for humanity is a great place to be 'stuck' as it were if there is ever a pandemic. Tony goes shopping and i try to get 30 minutes of walking in and 300 calories burned extra and get up every hour so as to be flexible. We have a great bunch of folks here to have happy hour with and we get to put our extra food in the office frig.   The flowers here are in bloom and we are so lucky.  The weather is 95 degrees but with air conditioning it is doable. The flowers are blooming in the desert.  Wow how beautiful... Flowers among the stones everywhere and the cactus are blooming.

Traveling Home...

Birthday Cake for you. Our Dear Michael is having a birthday today and we are wishing him the very best in life. We remember the days of Montessori, then Roeper, then U of D, then U of  M. We are blessed to have you for a son. Hugs

Lee Allem Utah Salt Lake On and off here for 4 months and he is from Salt Lake City Meghan from New Jersey, and Tom Marten from are here most of the year and Meghan is the construction supervisor when we work on the build, which right now is halted by the pandemic  Kathy Carson from (Columbus Ohio with here best friend Navigator Then there is 'Girl'...she's from around here and has been sheltering with us all winter.  Even took time out to produce a family of kittens and here is one.  She has...

Tony says the Devotion in the beginning and wrote and sings a song to go with building these 5 houses for Habitat for Humanity with the Care-A-Vanners a team of RVers that travel the country volunteering to build.

Desert in April

We have pretty much been here in Las Cruces New Mexico for the last 6 months, the last 2 sheltering in place with COVID 19.  We came here to build houses for Habitat for Humanity in November.  5 houses to build and usually takes 7 months to complete.  Other than the Pandemic it is a wonderful life.  We will stay here until it is safe to go back home to Michigan and family. 10 feet apart.  Happy Hour at 4:30 daily brings 8 of us together 10 feet apart except for spouses.  We get our drinks and snacks and sit for a couple of hours sharing our days adventures, which could be anything from repairing the toilet to what the UPS driver delivered today. We are so enjoying this time of quiet and ability to get lots of stuff on Tony's todo list DONE.
