The End to a Perfect Build

Sitting around the campfire, end of day, end of build. Ralph & Darlene talk about the day. Sue's dog Oliver in the background Oliver takes off to go visit Maggie, thinking that Maggie has food and drags Darlene, his trainer, out of her seat and onto the ground. It was funny at the time. Oliver's master calmly ignores what is going on in the background. The moon was almost full and the night was beautiful. This was a great build, all the things I would have loved to do. Framing, siding, nailers, dry wall. Alas, I was sick for two weeks with allergy that turned to a bronchial infection.

And the Adventures Continues, March 2007

Hello Fort Benning, Alabama/Georgia

Habitat Site in Phenix City, Alabama

The Worksite Phenix City

Lee Nickerson our team leader broke her ankle in 4 places while carrying a OSB board with husband Lou over uneven terrain. I am not sure that a safety talk in the morning would have helped in this situation, but it always pays to be careful.

Clearing Brush at Koinonia, Americus, Georgia

Jim Marble & Tony discuss jobs that have to be done. Clearing away brush in front of our rig. Koinonia, the pecan farm we know and love. Stop by and lend a hand and you will be rewarded one hundred fold.

St. Augustine Anastasia Island- What Fun.

Tony loves biking and beaches, get him near a beach and he is gone for all day. Some day I would love to 'love to' bike like him...

Cumberland Island National Seashore

Sorry, Armadillo...is it's real name.

Goodbye Jekyll, Hello Crooked River

Last Day on Jekyll Island

Sunrise on an overcast morning with my honey

Tony always makes me get up to see the sunrise when we are here on the east coast. And I bet he will make me get up to see the sunset when we get to the west coast.
