Wonderful Christmas at the Chicago Campbells

We had a great time at Mike & Sophia's for Christmas 2019:  what fantastic hosts they are.  We ate till we dropped and went to the mall and had these great accommodations at ALoft by the airport and got to spend some time with the Panos clan, it was wonderful, did i mention that Mike & Sophia are terrific hosts.

What a great time we had, we drove to El Paso Airport and parked our car and got a shuttle to the airport where we boarded a small plane, maybe 150 passengers direct to Chicago's O'Hare.

We arrived at O'Hare at around 5pm and Mike, bless his heart, picked us up and took us to our accommodations at ALoft Hotel by the airport.  Great place, BIG bed and not much else but a bathroom and shower.  All we needed.

He wisked us away to their house and dinner.  Monday night

Tuesday, Christmas Eve we went to Jeanne's for dinner and family gathering, usually held by Athena.  All were there and enjoying a great meal, the new kids (Boy) and Christine.

We decided that we didn't want to go to Midnight mass and went to Christmas Day mass.  Mike needed his motorcycle to be put in storage and get it out of the garage, so we helped.

Wednesday,
Mike and Sophia hosted the Christmas Dinner.  It was fantastic.  In the meantime we watched all the oldies but goodies on TV.

Wonderful meal, Bill and Tina came over and Mario and Marina with the kids.  It was a great get together.  Great food and drink and dessert and Friendship all around.
Thursday we headed back to the Airport at 1pm and with love and thanks to our great hosts we boarded the plane back to El Paso.

What a great time we had.
