Hiking the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest

Great Hike in Arizona

Stranded on I-40 east of Flagstaff

due to high winds.  We are not alone, there are a million truckers with us.

Last few days at Lake Mead

Have had a great stay but sooner or later we must get working.  Shreveport and a Fuller build is next.

Hoover Dam or is it Boulder Dam

Tony & I decided to do the tour somewhat.  We just took in the 15 minute movie and the museum and took pictures.  It was so crowded, i had no idea so many people from foreign lands would be so interested in Hoover Dam but judging by the foreign languages that were speaking i'd say it was 80-20. All Americans should visit the dam in their lifetime, it was a spectacular feat to build that dam to divert the mighty Colorado for power and irrigation throughout the southwest.

We decided to stay

Still having a great time here and are on scenery overload but we love it.
