The Utah Parks in all their glory

Tony & I decided we hadn't see the Utah Parks so after
Las Vegas we left beautiful Lake Mead and travelled
to Utah. We have spent two to three days in each park
and loved them all. After we visit Arches we will head to
our Habitat Build in Mankato, Minnesota May 4th for two
weeks, then to Chicago to visit our son Mike and maybe give
my Computer Hard Drive some tender loving care. So stay tuned.

Keep tuned for Tony's adventure bike ride this summer a fund raiser
for Millard Fuller's Center for Housing. It will either be here or
we will get him a dedicated blog of his own.
Mighty Zion National Park

Then there is Bryce, again, beautiful and different

I want you to know that we hiked Bryce Canyon

600 feet down into the canyon and back up the switch

backs covered in ice, 3 miles in 3 hours what an adventure.

Then on our way to Capitol Reef National Park

And Arches National Park, what beauty and an engineering marvel. I hope you will last forever but we will appreciate you for as long as you stand.

Thanks Kim for the reminder to put in a picture of Arches National Park.

On to our Habitat Build in Mankato MN
Retirement is great and giving back is greater!

The Arizona bridge is a  reinforced concrete  structure clad in the original masonry of the 1830s bridge, which was bought by  Robert P. McCulloch  from the  City of London . McCulloch had exterior granite blocks from the original bridge numbered and transported to America to construct the present bridge in Lake Havasu City, a planned community he established in 1964 on the shore of  Lake Havasu . The bridge was completed in 1971 (along with a canal), and links an island in the lake with the main part of Lake Havasu City. This bush is breathtaking also there were a lot of Restaurants and Brewery's around too bad its ...
