Day 7 - Scottsdale, AZ

A google earth look at tomorrows ride from Scottsdale to Payson, AZ. I am sure the riders are resting up today for the trek into the Mountains, specifically Mt. Ord, in checking the altitude map the highest I got was around 6,000 feet. I may be wrong and it may be higher or lower, I'm sure the bikers will let me know tomorow night.

This map gives more idea of what the bikers are up against, check it out.

Just in case you want to know, I am having a great time here in beautiful downtown, Berville, just hanging out, eating a whole Egg Custard Pie (homemade) and keeping the blog with Tony's travels up do date. Couldn't ask for a better life.

Looks like tomorrow will be a challenge for the riders. Up until now they seem to have found the 50 mile days sort of easy(?). I echo your son's comment, "Boy, am I jealous".
