Our Adventures Continue...

Wow, a lot has happened since May when i last posted.  Tony & I spent the summer at home at Mel's and had a very busy summer beginning in Cincy with Jean and Jon. Jean had looked so good that i asked her what she was doing.  I didn't know she had been losing weight with Weight Watchers and she looked fantastic.  So i asked her to take me along to her meeting on Saturday and i went and i signed up on the spot.  204.8#.  Well i have been higher like 207 in 2011 from sitting all day at the HFH desk. So my journey began that day and i am now 184.8, down 20 pounds.  I can't believe it but hopefully 25 pounds by May 6th and one more year to go to get to goal.  I found a WW in Richmond and started going to meetings right away and kept losing. What a great family I have in Twinsburg Ohio Son Bill with Molly and Liam & Rhys I get to visit them during the year Happy to be part of their lives.

On our way to the Natchez Trace we thought we would drop by our friend Kim Stroud's Family Farm and Cemetery in Franklin Arkansas where her grand parents were buried.

We had a great time hiking the canyon, what a great place in February with the sun at noon.  This place is spectacular.

The Trusses are going up on house #4 The slab is almost done on the 5th house here in Mesilla Valley. This is the prettiest place to build, with the Organ Mountains in the east and the desert so much a part of the landscape. We have 5 houses here in Mesilla Valley and they are in pristine condition. They always save the hurricane clips for me, thank you Pete. Meghan, how great it is to have you and Tom with us. Thanksgiving was great with the whole team. The Aquatic Center for $1 a day you have the facility to work out in. The Big guy is always happiest when he is on the build site.

WISDOM THE TRAIN: At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel by our side. As time goes by, other people will board the t rain; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. Others will step down over time and leave a permanent vacuum. Some, however, will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are.
