June 27 through July 9th, beautiful time in Rome. The Convent where we stayed The Coloseum Just to be sure we were there The Pieta at St Peter's Basilica St Peter's from the Hill St Paul Outside the Walls Virgin & Child Tony & I spent 11 great days traveling in Rome, and I mean all over Rome. Matt wore us out but it was great. Now we know the subway system, Metro, Bus and trolley and all the important and architecturally beautiful landmarks of Rome. I never did see where the Pope crept out of the Vatican at night to minister to the poor but i know its there. I will post more later but for now here goes.
