Food for thought on our life's journey...

John McDonald February 23 at 4:29am  ·  Haverhill, United Kingdom  ·  THE TRAIN: At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel by our side. As time goes by, other people will board the t rain; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. Others will step down over time and leave a permanent vacuum. Some, however, will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. The rain in Spain stays mainly in the plains...

Well i guess that's right but the Rain in Mississippi stays mainly in the Delta...and it rains and rains and rains. We are here in Leland Mississippi and i mean right on the Mississippi parked in Greenville and building in Leland and it hasn't stopped raining for 3 days. I have not been building.  I am still working on getting my back and self well again. I try to walk everyday with Roxanne but the rain put an end to that.  The outlook doesn't look very good either for the next week which is the only time that Leland has Care-a-vanners so it will be a loss for them if the rain keeps going.  Prayers are in order. The whole town takes these two weeks every year and takes care of the builders that get this house and some rehabs worked on. Great Team with some college kids from Emery University.  We met two girls from China, so glad to have them.

Up and working on Tuesday, on the site.  Two houses next to each other at different stages of building and we had a great team of 10.  Got a lot accomplished in the first 3 days. I love to nail hurricane clips, it's my favorite jog. Thanks  Pete and Diane for saving them for me. There's my honey now on the roof.................. 2014 team with Ron...
